It was a proud moment to inaugurate the Regional Round of DIPEX – 2026 for the Ahilyanagar and Nashik region at Sanjivani University on 14th February 2026. I Along with Dr. A. G. Thakur (Vice Chancellor), Mr. Sachin Jagtap (Director, Saitech Engineering LLP) and Mr. Ayush Parekh inaugrated the event.
Now in its 35th edition, DIPEX continues to be a powerful platform that nurtures innovation and encourages students to transform ideas into impactful solutions. Jointly organized by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Srijan Trust, the event witnessed an overwhelming response with 355 teams, more than 1,800 students and 190 dedicated volunteers from ITI, Diploma and Engineering institutions.
Students presented impressive working models across 11 interdisciplinary themes including Agricultural Technology, Computational Intelligence, Defence and Cyber Security, Energy, Industrial Automation, Medical and Healthcare Technology, Mobility, Sustainable Civil Infrastructure, Safety, Waste Management and Open Innovation.
The projects were evaluated on innovation, technical feasibility, societal impact, sustainability and presentation, making the event a true celebration of young minds and futuristic ideas. Such initiatives significantly strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem, enhance industry–academia collaboration and provide students with a powerful platform to showcase their ideas and entrepreneurial spirit.
