Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SCPER), Kopargaon was established under the guidance of the esteemed late Shri. Shankaraoji G. Kolhe. The institute was founded with the noble objective of bringing pharmacy education to the rural masses. SCPER is dedicated to providing diploma-level education in pharmacy while adhering to the rules and regulations set by regulatory authorities.
As part of the Sanjivani Rural Education Society (SRES), SCPER is recognized as one of the leading self-financed technical institutes in Maharashtra. The college is situated in a self-contained campus, surrounded by lush greenery in the heart of Maharashtra.
SCPER has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act of 1956. It received this recognition in the year 2016 and is permanently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune. The college complies with the norms and standards set by SPPU.
The institute has also received recognition and accreditation from various esteemed organizations. It is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR-SIRO). SCPER has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
